Day 01: ADDIS - ARBA MINCH - Early morning Drive to Arba Minch through rift valley lakes of Ziway, Langano, Abjata and Shalla. Lunch at Shashmene. After lunch visit will be highlighted with a brief stop at Wolayt community that is well known for the cultivation of false bananas and unique life style. Overnight hotel.
Day 02: NECHI SAR NATIONAL PARK - Nech sar National Park, which is situated in the rift valley, is 2000 m above sea level, flanked by lakes Abaya and Chamo. Although mainly open grass lands, it also contains sparse areas of savannah woodland and highland forest. Drive back for lunch to the hotel. Afternoon program includes a boat ride on lake Chamo where one can find Hippos, Crocodile and variety of birds. Over night at Hotel.
Day 03: ARBA MINCH - AWASSA - This trip begins with a drive to the mountains of Chencha to visit the houses, works of weavings (for which they are extremely famous), cultivations (Sorghum or false banana) of Dorze people and continues to Sodo for lunch. Afternoon visit will be that of Alaba village with an over night in the city of Awassa. O/N Hotel.
Day 04: AWASSA - WENDO GENET - Morning visit will take place at the fish market of Lake Awassa as well as bird watch. Birds like Cormorants, Pelicans, Marabou storks, Hammer Kops, Fish Eagle, Kingfishers and other more are abundant .We will further drive to Wondogenet for lunch, and afterwards enjoy the hot spring, forest bird watching and hiking the forest. Coloubus monkey are to be seen even within the hotel compound. Overnight Wabi Shebelle Hotel, at Wondogenet.
Day 05: WENDO GENET - ADDIS ABABA - On our drive back to Addis, will visit the Abjata -Shalla National Park which is abundant with different water birds, especially Pelicans and Flamingoes. Lunch at Ziway Bekele Molla or Tourist Hotel on the way back to Addis Ababa.
